We are kicking off Aviation Week in South Carolina on Saturday August 13th with our 3rd annual aerial parade, “Tour De York!” Take-offs will begin at 10:30. The last aircraft is expected to land back at the airport around 11:45am.
If you might be interested in joining this event, please contact Steve Gould, KUZA airport manager, for coordination.
Breakfast will be served to those who are flying in the event starting at 8:00am with a mandatory 9:00am briefing for only the pilots flying in the event.
If you have questions, please contact Tim Gause or Steve Gould. Lunch will be available for purchase upon the return to KUZA!
There will be all different types of general aviation aircraft flying, including some in formation flight and others with smoke contrails. If you live within 1 mile or less from the flight path you should be able to see the aircraft from your own home. If you still want a closer view, we have highlighted public areas for your enjoyment.
**The aircraft parking apron/ramp will not be open to spectators for this event.**
