NC30 will have its fly in this year on 9/10/22. Campers are welcome to come the night before for a cookout (burgers and dogs) and campfire starting around 7pm. Only facilities are a porta potty and a hose. Bagels and coffee in the morning. A poker run will start the morning of around 9:30 (details below). The run will end with a spot landing contest starting around 11:00 for poker runners and general arrivals. 5 card stud with deuces wild get your last card at NC30 upon arrival. Lunch will be catering from Pie in the Sky Pizza (on your own), a local legend rising from the ashes to build a new restaurant.

The lead plane will drop a card bucket a by 9:40 at NC26:
1. NC26-Long Island airpark: A nice residential airpark. Long turf runway. 3 clicks to turn on lights. Preferred departure is runway 5(wind permitting). Card bucket will be on the runway 5 end(or a greeter TBD). Please make a left turn at runway 5 before departure to not blast the hangars on the end (resident’s request)
2. KSVH: Bucket will be on stoop at FBO
3. Shelly field: A beautiful long forgiving turf runway. Not on the map. Just West of Freightliner plan. Lat 35.72157N/80.72384W. Bucket will be by the Barn. Land 15, Take off 33 wind permitting.
4. KRUQ: Bucket will be near the fuel farm
5. NC30: We will give you last card.
Spot landing: ALL TRAFFIC LANDS 36 AND DEPARTS 18 REGARDLESS OF WIND. No obligation to participate. Closest touch of mains AFTER the line wins. You will have less than 1600 remaining if you participate. You have just shy of 2000 with the whole runway. There is NO SHAME in a go-around and no one will call you anything but a good pilot if you do.
