The Women in Aviation First in Flight Chapter hosts an annual Girls in Aviation Day (GIAD) event at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport. This program is geared toward educating and inspiring young girls to discover the adventurous world of aviation.
Girls in Aviation Day is filled with fun activities, displays, exhibits, games, and a raffle of wonderful prizes and experiences. Every year we have a different lineup of sponsors, demonstrations, vendors, organizations, and food trucks that we team up with to create a unique and exciting event.
This year the First in Flight Girls in Aviation Day will be from 9am to noon on Saturday, September 10th.
